As I'm sure you know there is a growing anti science movement and from what I can see science is being replaced with belief where people think what you believe is more important than actual reality. For example your belief shapes your reality and your reality shapes your beliefs. I have to say I find this movement to be very 'bonkers' but they think they're right. I'm in a Facebook group at the moment, just trying to find out where it's coming from and it looks as though a lot of it is 'spirituality', whatever that means. From what I can see the movement is based on some science eg . consciousness, neuroplasticity and that one quantum physics experiment, the delayed choice quantum eraser but any other science is ignored. The science referred to is selective, which of course makes is not science. My problem is it's not clear cut at all where belief ends and reality begins. I have done a quick search for a book but I can't see anything which covers both. I suppose I would say belief is personal and reality is impersonal. What does everyone think?
